Potato Soup
12 medium potatoes, cubed
3 celery ribs, chopped
1 large onion, chopped
Place in 5 quart pot, add enough water to cover vegetables. Cook until potatoes are tender.
Add to potatoes-
12 ounces evaporated milk
1 cup milk
Mix together, then add to potatoes -
2 heaping tablespoons cornstarch
1 cup milk
Add -
1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper
2 Tablespoons Lawry's Season salt
1/4 cup dry parsly flakes
Stir and cook on medium low heat until thickened.
Optional Add -
Diced ham, corn beef, smoked sausage for a meaty potato soup.
or Add additional vegetables for a Cream of Vegetable soup.
