Sauerkraut Balls

8 oz. cream cheese
26 oz. can of sauerkraut, drained
3 Tbl. grated chopped onion
3 Tbl dry parsley
1 lb. ground hot sausage
1 Tbl dry mustard
1/2 cup Italian fine bread crumbs

For Breading –

1/2 cup fine bread crumbs in bowl
1 large beaten egg in bowl

Mix all ingredients together. Roll into1-1/2” balls. Roll balls into bread crumbs, into egg and then into bread crumbs again.

Refrigerate for several hours.

Deep fry at 350 degrees for 1 minute or until golden brown.


Suggested dips: Honey Mustard, Ranch, Blue Cheese
