Black Friday : What will Your Thanksgiving Day be like?

The day draws near. Are you a Black Friday shopper?

I hear the sales are starting earlier this year - Thanksgiving evening.

If you've never been shopping on Black Friday, let me tell you, the line forms five hours in advance for the best merchandise.

So if they have those midnight sales moved back to 8:00 pm, then you better be in that line by 3:00 pm on Thanksgiving Day.

I figure we could cook our turkey late Wednesday night, slice it up, make sandwiches, and then pack them in a cooler. Then sleep until mid-day on Thursday, get dressed, load up the car with our on-the-go nourishment and head on out to the stores with the best sales.

I'm aiming to save $25 for that big screen TV for my bathroom. And I've always wanted one of those Circus Popcorn Maker Machines, why not get it when I can save $10. I hope I don't forget to stock up on some kitchen appliances. I already have dozens, but there must be a better blender and a quicker coffee maker. I'm sure I can save $5 on each of those. I mean, really, these bargins only come along once a year.

So you know, I'm kidding, I don't plan on shopping on Black Friday. My time is worth more than the $5 an hour I'd save standing in some line.

I have every intention of cooking our traditional dinner for family, Turkey, Stuffing, Mashed Potatoes, Gravy, Corn, Green Peas, Cole Slaw, Rolls & Butter, Deviled Eggs, Cream Cheese Stuffed celery, Olives and Sweet Pickles.
