Are You Still Stuffed?

The day after, and I'm still stuffed from all the food I ate. My family isn't so large since we're spread out around the country. But my brother's wife's family makes up for it. His house is filled every Christmas with dozens of family and friends, each bringing in something yummy to eat. This year was no different, and I always have to sample everything. Yet even a nibble of this and a taste of that can be overwhelming. Why on Earth do we eat on holiday's until we're uncomfortable in our clothes? Must be the why we choose Jan 1st each year to diet ;-)

  1. I love that picture. I didn't stuff myself this year because I had to drive home! I should have spent the night at my parents and eaten myself silly! LOL

I hope everyone enjoyed their holiday.

    Thanks,

  5. My family get-together is next Saturday so I am hoping I can keep it in moderation. DIL said she was bringing a dessert her sister had at their get together but did not serve since she said they already had too much. so DIL said she was making it and bringing it to ours as it is her favorite....so already I am planning on that one!!!

  7. Stuffed on cookies mostly. hehe. I try not to make resolutions to loose weight, I don't stick with them when I do. So I just try and get serious about watching what I eat and how much and that seems to be better for me.

  8. I'm an all out dieter, starting Jan 2, but I know I'll fizzle about four weeks later. I'm a yoyo all year round. I know I'll never stick to loosing all I should, but trying can't hurt.
