Welcome to my Food Recipe themed 2014 Blogging from A to Z Challenge
I have two things I just love, love, love to do, write books and cook. Stop by everyday to see my favorites recipes and a glimpse of one of my books.
D is for Deviled Eggs
Ingredients:
12 large eggs, boiled, shelled, sliced in half lengthwise
Mayonaise
salt
white pepper
paprika
In a mixing bowl, place yolks and 2 tablespoons of mayonaise. Blend adding salt & pepper & more mayonaise until mixture is creamy but still slightly stiff. Fill egg white halves. Sprinkle a little paprika on top.

Devil's Kiss
by Brenda Williamson
U.S. Marshal Jack McCay tracks outlaws for a profession and sweet-talks women out of their clothes for pleasure. When he begins to hunt a vicious killer, he meets one beautiful woman resistan
t to his charm.
Tessa Jane Creager searches for her family’s murderer. The wanted poster says dead or alive--she'd prefer dead. While on the trail, she gains the unwanted help of a marshal-turned-bounty hunter intent on catching the killer and bedding her.
In pursuit of the renegade, Jack and Tessa Jane have to deal with the harshness of the Wild West and with their shared desires. However, can a handsome man with secrets and a beautiful woman with a violent past overcome their stubborn ways to share everlasting love? Or will an outlaw destroy them by revealing all their secrets?
Devilled eggs were my late MIL's fave recipes-- she made them so well.

I have to make twice as many as I need because I eat so many while filling them. Thanks for stopping by :-)
DeleteI have a question - how do you stop your yolks going black? I keep trying different things and sometimes they work and sometimes they don't :).
ReplyDeleteThanks or the recipe I love eggs and mayo in just about any combination.

I've never seen black - black. Do you mean dark grayish green on the edges of the cooked yolk ball? That's usually a sign the eggs are old and over-cooked.
DeleteMMm loved deviled eggs. SO good! I usually skip the mayo since I don't like that but make em the same after that. Been a long while since I've had any though. Hmm might need to whip up a batch!
ReplyDeleteHappy A to Z-ing!

herding cats & burning soup.
I tried cream cheese in place of mayo and it turned out pretty good too.
